I would like to install a back splash in my kitchen that is cheap & still looks good. It would have to be washable. Any ideas would be appreciated

I couldn’t find a link right off but they sell Masonite paneling at your local home store that looks like tile you just cut to fit and glue to the wall. It’s inexpensive and waterproof.I hope this helps

I would want to simply match up as best as I could with the existing countertop and then purchase as best a match as I could with LOOSE backsplash, cut, mitred, capped and adhesive caulk installed myself, but that would be me… ; )

Baseboard trim could be used as a quick economical backsplash. Use pre-finished wood, and caulk top and bottom edge.
