heres my problem. My hubby loves rustic and so do i, but i also adore country/farmhouse style. My whole issue is that i want my home to feel bright, airy and country during the day but then at night, i would love the rustic/lodgy feeling to it. i love plaids and wilderness and quilts as well…here are some examples of the country style i love…

Use some dark window treatments and at night pull everything closed.
Use candle light and a great fire place.
