Does my story sound good so far???????

I just wrote this and I have a story in mind to go along with it. What do you think?

It was hard not to stay completely asleep in Jason’s cottage. Not only was it humid and hot, but the floors were making sounds that you would only find in horror movies. So, seeing as I wasn’t fully unconscious, I became aware when Jason slipped out of the bed before silently exiting the small room. I figured he was most certainly going to use the bathroom and eased my mind.
I quickly fell back into a strange dream.
And, woke up again ten minutes later to an empty space beside me.
I could feel a frown dig itself into my face as I softly brushed the blanket off my bare legs.
‘‘Jason?’’ I called out in a whisper.
Silence was the only response.
Pushing myself off of the mattress, I made my way discretely out of the room while making sure not to cause too much noise.
It was the small, soft hums that leaded me to the kitchen. I passed Jamie and Caleb’s room, I spared a quickly glance and immediately stopped in my tracks. Caleb was sprawled across the bed like road kill, and there was obviously no Jamie in there. My frown digging even deeper, my steps grew quicker as I neared the kitchen.
I was pretty sure that my mind knew what I was going to find, but there was something else inside of me that yearned ignorance. All the lights were turned off, but that didn’t stop my eyes from recognizing one dark shape.
A shape that should have been two shapes.
As I came closer, the image of Jamie and Jason became clearer. Jamie, who sat on the kitchen counter, had Jason in between her legs, and under her lips. Jason’s hands were tangled in her red hair, just like they were tangle in mine only hours ago. It was the glint of the silver bracelet on Jason’s wrist, the one I gave him for his last birthday, which awoke me from my shock. My throat suddenly feeling so thick and clogged, I wasn’t able to make a sound. Any sound to just tell them that I’m there and that I’m seeing all of this.
So, instead of speaking, I quickly turned around and rushed back to my room, not bothering to cover up the sound of my steps.
The first thing I did when I entered my room was turn on the light and lunge to my bag. I shoved all of my things back into it, so fast that I didn’t feel a thing when I knocked my elbow on the dresser. I threw my bag over my shoulder before I barged back out of the room and back down the hall, gasping when I was pulled to the side.
‘‘Audrey?’’ Caleb’s sleepy voice asked. ‘‘What are you doing up? Where’s Jamie?’’
I ripped my arm out of his grasp and looked up at him.
His golden brown hair was tangled and aiming in every direction possible while his dark blue eyes were looking at me in confusion and fatigue.
I opened my mouth to say something, but I had no idea what I could possibly say, so I just started to make my way back out.
No choice but to pass by the kitchen, I looked over to Jamie and Jason, seeing that they were no longer together but two feet away, standing stiff as stone with their eyes bulging out of their heads like baseballs.
My eyes squinted into glares and I quickly turned away, aiming for the door.
I barely heard Jason calling out my name as I roughly pushed the door open, stepping out into the dark outdoors.

Thanks :)

That’s really good. But I think that I would need to read the rest of the story to completely understand it. Like how the characters relate to each other. Could you send me the rest if possible. My email is ellis_ava@yahoo.com. Thanks!
