I want to decorate my bedroom with a Moulin Rouge theme. I can basically start fresh, except i already have off-white cottage style furnature that I cant replace. Please tell me how to do this, and If you have any other room ideas! Thankss!

When I think of that movie, I think of Nicole Kidman’s room which has mostly a Moroccan theme. That’s the theme in my room and I’m in love with it. You’ll need lot’s of different colors mostly reds and other warm colors. I have red Moroccan valances in my windows and they’re amazing. I would also paint the walls something warm to throw off the cream colored furniture. I would definitely use a canopy over my bed. You can find ones that attach to your ceiling at most linen stores. Last but not least, the accessories: I would do exotic statues like the big decorated elephants or Hindu god sculptures. Big vases and candles wouldn’t hurt either. Good luck
