My mirror is 5ft. by 2 1/2 ft. and I need help with how to decorate it so it isn’t so plain. I like the classic country look and the cottage look, as well as the primitive country look. Any ideas how to turn this into something special?

I would make a fancy window sill and hang it below the mirror…get some country lookin valance and curtain rod and hang it over the mirror . You could even go to a craft store and get small wood grids to put on the mirror to make it look like a windows with a view….just an idea

Make it into a coffee table; use as a serving platter for special occasions; paint a border or scene on the mirror with whatever motif you like; use the wood strips mentioned before and paint them any color or finish you like to match your decor.
